Genesis Camp 2015
Hopefully you were able to make it to Genesis Camp at the weekend.
The event was a huge success with 575 people attending the live broadcast. You can check out a recording of the entire thing over at Crowdcast.
I gave a talk on my WordPress and Genesis workflow combined with the Bourbon, Neat, Bitters and Refills front-end framework. You can get a quick précis of those various components by visiting the post I wrote in advance of the talk.
It seemed to be well received. If you missed it, I’ve embedded it below for your viewing pleasure!
Free starter theme and blueprint
The starter theme is still a work in progress, but I decided to make it (and the blueprint) available for attendees of Genesis Camp so they could experiment with it after watching my demonstration.
I’ve since received some really good feedback about the starter theme, with people saying they are considering it for full-time use with their projects going forward.
So I’ve decided to make the starter theme and blueprint available for free to anyone who wishes to download it.
Head over to the Genesis Camp 2015 page where you’ll find download links for both the starter theme and the DesktopServer blueprint.
Don’t worry, the downloads aren’t hidden behind an email gate or anything else of the sort. But if you want to be kept up to date with progress on the starter theme you can register your email address at the bottom of this post or on the Genesis Camp page linked to above.
Limited time offer
I will only be offering the starter theme and blueprint for free for a limited time. Eventually both will be released as premium products, so grab them whilst you can!
If you have any feedback, or if you make use of these tools I’d love to hear about it. Leave a note in the comments or send me a link via Twitter.
